General Description
Annual. Stems prostrate to erect, 7–50 cm. Herbage glabrate to hirsute, glandular. Leaf blades cordate, orbicular, 1–6 cm wide, cleft at least halfway to the midvein into 5 to 9 lobed segments. Flowers: sepals 2–4 mm long; petals ca. as long, purple; fertile stamens 5. Capsule 7–11 mm long including the style column (Lesica 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
