General Description
Short-lived perennial. Stems prostrate to ascending, 15–50 cm. Herbage glabrate. Leaflets ovate, 1–3 cm long, serrulate with rounded to retuse tips; stipules 5–20 mm long, acuminate, membranous below. Racemes axillary, globose, 15–25 mm wide, non-involucrate, shorter or longer than the leaves. Flowers white to pink, 5–10 mm long; calyx glabrous but sparsely ciliate in the sinuses; sepals linear, 1–2 mm long. Legume short-stipitate. 3–4 mm long with 2 to 4 seeds (Lesica 2012.
