General Description
Plants with a branched caudex or short rhizome. Stems ascending, simple, 5–30 cm. Herbage glabrous, glutinous in the inflorescence. Leaves basal and cauline; basal blades oblong to spatulate, serrate to entire, 1–10 cm long; cauline becoming narrower, sessile upward. Inflorescence paniculate, linear to oblong. Involucres campanulate, 3–8 mm high; phyllaries oblong to linear-oblong. Rays 7 to 16; ligules 2–5 mm long. Disk flowers 6 to 31; corollas 3–6 mm long. Achenes 2–3 mm long, strigose (Lesica 2012.
