General Description
Taprooted with woody, spreading branches. Stems ascending to erect, branched at the base, 15–35 cm, glabrous below, puberulent above. Leaves linear-lanceolate, 2–8 cm long, glabrous to puberulent. Flowers 5 or more in a terminal, leafy-bracted cyme; pedicels 5–35 mm long; calyx 8–14 mm long with nearly flat intercostal membranes; corolla white to blue, the tube 10–15 mm long, lobes notched, 9–12 mm long; style 1–2 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012.
