General Description
Taprooted perennial with a usually branched caudex. Stems erect, 7–30 cm. Herbage strigose; stems canescent at the base. Leaves basal and cauline, filiform to linear, 1–4 cm long. Heads 1 to 10, radiate. Involucres hemispheric, 2–5 mm high; phyllaries in 3 to 4 series, sparsely villous, minutely glandular. Rays light blue to white; ligules 7–11 mm long. Disk corollas 2–4 mm long. Achenes ca. 1.5 mm long (
