General Description
Stems erect, branched, 50–150 cm. Leaves with solid petioles; blades 10–50 cm long, tomentose beneath. Inflorescence corymbiform, heads short-pedunculate. Involucre 3–4 cm wide, glabrate. Disk flowers ca. 40, purple; corolla 9–14 mm long. Pappus 2–5 mm long. Achenes 6–7 mm long (
