General Description
Rhizomatous perennial. Stems erect, simple, 15–70 cm. Herbage glabrate to glandular pubescent. Leaves sessile to subsessile, lanceolate to ovate, serrate, 1–7 cm long. Flowers: calyx 15–25 mm long, up to ½ as long as the pedicel, teeth acute, subequal; corolla 3–5 cm long, bilabiate; the limb rose to magenta; tube yellow and purple-spotted; palate bearded, 2-ridged, yellow.
