Little Larkspur - Delphinium bicolor
General Description
Stems glabrous to puberulent and glandular,10–40 cm from woody, fibrous roots. Leaves mostly basal; the blades 2–10 cm wide; ultimate lobes to 6 mm wide. Inflorescence 3- to 12-flowered; lower flowers shorter than the puberulent pedicels. Flowers with spreading, deep blue sepals 10–25 mm long, the lower pair longer; upper petals white with blue markings; lower petals whitish to deep blue, the blade cleft 1/4 or less the length.
