General Description
Annual. Stems prostrate to ascending, simple or branched, sometimes rooting at lower nodes, 10–30 cm. Herbage pubescent to hirsute. Leaves short-petiolate; blades 7–25 mm long, ovate, serrate to shallowly lobed. Inflorescence of solitary flowers in upper leaf axils; pedicels 10–25 mm long. Flowers: calyx 5–7 mm long; sepals ciliate; corolla blue, 8–12 mm across; style 2–3 mm long. Capsule reniform, widely and shallowly notched, 3–5 mm wide, pubescent (Lesica et al. 2012.
