General Description
Mat-forming perennial from a thick, branched caudex clothed in old leaf bases. Stems erect to ascending, tomentose and appressed hairy, 1–10 cm. Leaf blades ovate with 3 elliptic, coarsely dentate to pinnately lobed leaflets, 5–12 mm long, white-tomentose beneath, sparsely long-hairy above. Inflorescence an open, 1- to 3-flowered cyme. Flowers: sepals lanceolate, 4–5 mm long; bracteoles as long; petals yellow, 4–6 mm long, equal to much longer than the sepals. Achenes smooth, ca. 1.5 mm long (
