		General Description
		Annual. Stems erect, branched, 10–50 cm. Leaves crowded, lanceolate to elliptic, veiny, short-petiolate, 15–40 mm long; stipules 4–8 mm long, shredding into fibers. Flowers 3–4 mm long, 1 to 5 in leaf axils; pedicels erect, 3–7 mm long; tepals green with yellowish margins. Achene 3-angled, tan, 2–4 mm long (
