Small-flower Prairie Wallflower - Erysimum inconspicuum
Biennial or short-lived perennial; caudex often clothed in old leaf bases. Stems simple or branched, 12–70 cm. Leaves: the basal withered by flowering; stem leaves linear to oblanceolate, 1–9 cm long with entire margins. Petals 6–12 mm long. Fruit erect-ascending, 3–6 cm × 1–2 mm, weakly 4-angled, pubescent; pedicels ascending, 5–10 mm long; style 0.8–1.5 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
