General Description
Fibrous-rooted. Stems erect, 20–70 cm. Herbage glabrate to sparsely arachnoid. Leaves long-petiolate below, clasping above; basal blades ovate, dentate, 1–5 cm long; cauline lanceolate to oblanceolate, pinnately divided into acute lobes. Inflorescence corymbiform with 5 to 20 heads. Heads discoid; involucres 6–10 mm high; phyllaries 13 or 21, glabrous, purplish. Disk corollas 5–8 mm long. Achenes 2–3 mm long, glabrous (
