Numerous collections from western Montana at MONTU. Though widespread in western Montana in appropriate habitat, usually not abundant.
General Description
Plants mostly glabrous, rhizomatous, stoloniferous. Stems lacking; peduncles 2–9 cm. Leaf blades 1–3 cm long, broadly cordate to reniform with crenulate margins; stipules lanceolate, glandular-toothed. Flowers white, 8–12 mm long; the lower petals with purple lines; the lateral pair mostly glabrous; spur 2–3 mm long; style glabrous. Capsule 3–5 mm long (
