Rhizomatous perennial. Stems often branched, basally prostrate, rooting at the nodes, terminally ascending, 5–40 cm. Herbage glabrous. Leaves short-petiolate; blades 1–6 cm long, lanceolate to ovate, serrate. Inflorescence of axillary racemes, glabrous; pedicels 5–12 mm long.
