General Description
Shrubs. Stems erect, branched, 2–4 m; twigs puberulent. Leaf blades lanceolate with acute tips, 2–6 cm long, pubescent beneath. Inflorescence peduncles 10–15 mm long; bracts linear, 4–6 mm long. Flowers: sepals ciliate; corolla white, ca. 15 mm long, pubescent, lobes longer than the tube. Berry red (Lesica 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
