General Description
Stems terete, little branched, somewhat zigzag. Submersed leaves sessile, clasping, lanceolate, minutely wavy, 6–20 × ca. 1 cm; stipules 2–7 cm long, not sheathing. Floating leaves absent. Spikes 2–4 cm long, continuous. Tepals green, 2–3 mm long. Fruits 4–5 mm long, keeled with an erect beak (
