General Description
Glabrous, cushion-forming. Stems numerous, prostrate to ascending, densely leafy, 2–4 cm. Leaves opposite, 2–4 mm long, ovate, ciliate. Inflorescence a solitary flower. Flowers: calyx cup-shaped with lobes 2–4 mm long, ciliate; hypanthium absent; petals light purple, oblong, 6–9 mm long; ovary barely inferior. Capsule 6–10 mm long including the long beak (
