Very numerous collections from a wide area of the state. Somewhat disturbance-tolerant.
General Description
Stems 1 to several, 8–50 cm with 1 sessile, clasping, ovate, leaf-like bract. Leaf blades orbicular to reniform, 1–6 cm broad, deeply cordate. Flowers: calyx lobes 4–7 mm long, 5-veined; petals 7–15 mm long, fringed below the middle; staminodia obovate, lobed. Capsule 7–11 mm long (
