General Description
Stems 6–40 cm. Leaf blades ovate to orbicular, 1–4 cm wide, shallowly 5- to 7-lobed, crenate, glabrous to glandular-puberulent. Flowers campanulate, slightly irregular; calyx 2–5 mm long, greenish-white; the lobes 2–3 mm long, erect; petals white, 1–2 mm long; stamens shorter than the sepals. Capsules 4–7 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Our plants are variety grossulariifolia.

Usually granitic soil of crevices, rock slides, fellfields; montane to lower alpine (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
