General Description
Stems erect, hollow, 20–50 cm with mostly glabrous foliage. Basal leaf blades 15–50 mm long, reniform, deeply 3-lobed into lobed segments. Flowers with petals 3–5 mm long, barely longer than the glabrous sepals. Achenes ca. 1 mm long, glabrous with inflated margins and a straight beak ca. 0.1 mm long; heads cylindric, 3–10 mm high (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
