General Description
Cushion-forming. Scapes 1 to 4, erect, 2–15 mm long, pubescent. Leaves ciliate to sparsely covered with short hairs, linear-lanceolate, 2–6 mm long. Flowers solitary, subtended by 0 to 2 bracts; calyx reddish; corolla 6–8 mm long, the lobes 4–7 mm long. (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
