General Description
Stems arising from rhizomes, 15–60 cm. Herbage densely appressed-sericeous. Leaflets 3 to 5, obovate, apiculate, 1–4 cm long. Stipules linear, 3–10 mm long. Racemes axillary, 2–9 cm long including the peduncle, as long as the leaves. Flowers blue, fading brown, 4–6 mm long; calyx densely sericeous, sepals lanceolate, 2–3 mm long; the lowest much longer.
