General Description
Glabrous perennial with spreading roots. Stems erect, 15–30 cm, branched above. Leaves alternate, linear, entire, numerous, 1–3 cm long, whorled at the base of the umbel. Inflorescence a compact umbel with ovate-cordate bracts. Cyathia ca. 3 mm long; glands with an orangish, lunate appendage (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
