General Description
Stems erect, branched, 2–3 m; twigs gray-puberulent with stellate hairs. Leaves: blades ovate to obovate, serrate, unlobed, 5–10 cm long, puberulent. Flowers: corolla subrotate, ca. 4 mm across. Drupe red, 8–10 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Range Comments
Ornamental, occasionally introduced in northern U.S. and adjacent Canada. Collected in Missoula County (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
