General Description
Glabrous, rhizomatous perennial. Stems erect to trailing, 3–35 cm. Leaves narrowly lanceolate, 5–35 mm long, sometimes glaucous. Inflorescence a terminal, few-flowered cyme or flowers solitary. Flowers: sepals narrowly ovate, 3-veined, 3–5 mm long; petals 3–8 mm long; stamens 5 to 10. Capsule 4–6 mm long, opening by 6 slits (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
