General Description
Stems 5–35 cm, unbranched from a simple or branched caudex. Basal leaf blades 5–20 mm long. Stem leaves 5–15 mm long. Petals 4.5–7 mm long. Fruits 5–10 mm long; styles 1–2 mm long; pedicels 3–10 mm long. Moist soil of grasslands, meadows, open forest, turf; valleys to alpine (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
