General Description
Annual from a simple caudex. Stems 3–12 cm, unbranched, leafless above. Basal leaves obovate, 3–20 mm long with entire margins. Stem leaves 2 to 5, elliptic. Vestiture of dense, simple and branched hairs, becoming glabrous above. Petals white, 3–6 mm long or absent. Fruit erect, 7–15 mm × 1.5–2.5 mm, sparsely puberulent with simple hairs; style up to 0.1 mm long; lower pedicels 1–6 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
