General Description
Perennial from a simple or branched caudex. Stems 3–25 cm, terminal. Basal leaves oblanceolate, 5–17 mm long with entire margins. Stem leaves lanceolate, not auriculate. Vestiture of dense, fine, branched hairs. Petals white to purple, 4–8 mm long. Fruits pendulous, straight to slightly curved, 2–5 cm × 1.5–2 mm; seeds narrowly wing-margined, in 1 row per locule (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
