General Description
Biennial or perennial with a simple or branched caudex. Stems 8–60 cm, terminal. Vestiture lacking or of sparse, sessile, 2-branched hairs at the base of the plant. Basal leaves narrowly oblanceolate with entire or weakly dentate margins, 2–6 cm long. Stem leaves narrowly lanceolate, auriculate-clasping. Flowers white to purplish; petals 6–10 mm long. Fruit 2–8 cm × 1–3 mm, erect and appressed to the stem; seeds in 2 rows per locule. (
