General Description
Annual. Stems prostrate to ascending, 3–25 cm. Herbage strigose below; hispid in the inflorescence. Leaves 1–6 cm long. Inflorescence bracteate below. Flowers calyx 2.5–4 mm long, symmetrical; corolla 1.5–2.5 mm long, limb 2–3 mm across. Nutlets lanceolate, ca. 1.5 mm long, mostly glabrous (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants.
