General Description
Annual. Stems slender, lax, simple or branched, 8–35 cm. Herbage hispid, strigose. Leaves linear to oblanceolate, 1–5 cm long. Inflorescence ebracteate. Flowers: calyx hispid, hirsute, 3–5 mm long in fruit; corolla ca. 2 mm long. Nutlets 4, ovate, 1.5–2 mm long, smooth; scar closed, widened at the base (Lesica et al. 2012.
