General Description
Annual. Stems slender, simple or branched, 5–30 cm. Herbage hirsute and sometimes hispid. Leaves linear-oblanceolate to oblong, 1–3 cm long. Inflorescence ebracte ate or bracteate below. Flowers: calyx hispid and hirsute, 3–5 mm long in fruit; corolla 1–2 mm long. Nutlets 4, ovate, ca. 2 mm long, smooth, shiny; scar closed, on edge of ventral surface (Lesica et al. 2012.
