The
Lacinipolia stricta forewing is dark brown in the median area, and paler yellowish-brown in the basal and subterminal areas. The terminal area is dark brown mixed with black. The reniform spot is pale brown, angular, with a conspicuous thick white outline. The hindwing is dirty brownish-gray with a pale yellowish terminal line and fringe (Powell and Opler, 2009).
