The Kentucky Warbler breeds in the eastern U.S. from southeastern Iowa and Missouri east to the Atlantic coast and south to the Gulf Coast states except Florida (Sibley 2014). In Montana, this species has historic fall records but no records over the past decade (Montana Bird Distribution Committee 2012).
