The Pine Warbler breeds in pine forests of eastern North America from the southern Canadian Provinces south through the Upper Midwest and New England south and west through the southeastern U.S. (Sibley 2014). In Montana, the Pine Warbler has a few fall and winter records over the past decade (Montana Bird Distribution Committee 2012).
