General Description

The Virginia’s Warbler typically breeds in the southwestern Rocky Mountains from Nevada through New Mexico and overwinters in Mexico. The species is an accidental visitor to southern Montana with only two observation records reported (Olson et al. 1999, MTNHP 2019).
