General Description

The Pomarine Jaeger breeds on the Arctic tundra of Alaska and Canada; breeding distribution is closely tied to lemming populations (Haven and Lee 2000). In Montana, this species has not been recorded in the past decade (Montana Bird Distribution 2012).
