General Description
Perennial from a branched caudex clothed in old stipules, sometimes forming loose mats. Stems ascending to lax, with sparse, wrinkled, spreading hair 3–15 cm. Leaf blades sericeous, linear, 1–5 cm long, pinnately divided into 9 to 21 deeply lobed leaflets, the ultimate segments linear. Inflorescence few-flowered, appressed-hairy, open with spreading branches. Flowers sepals lanceolate, 3–5 mm long; bracteoles narrower and shorter; petals yellow, 4–6 mm long, longer than the sepals.
