General Description
Rhizomatous perennial. Stems erect, 20–40 cm, mostly simple. Herbage sparsely hirsute. Leaves petiolate; blades lanceolate to ovate, 1–3 cm long, crenate. Inflorescence of dense bracteate verticillasters, terminal or in axils of uppermost leaves. Flowers: calyx tubular, 8–10 mm long, villous, lobes unequal, setaceous, upper longer than lower; corolla purple, 10–12 mm long, campanulate, indistinctly bilabiate (Lesica et al. 2012. Range Comments
