General Description
Short-lived perennial. Stems ascending from short rootstocks, 4–12 cm. Leaves oval to obovate above, 2–6 mm long. Flowers 5-merous; petals yellow, broadly lanceolate, 5–7 mm long. Follicles spreading, glandular, 4–6 mm long; styles ca. 1 mm long, straight (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
