General Description
Vines. Stems lax or twining, hollow, branched; twigs glaucous. Leaves sessile above; blades glaucous beneath, ciliate, elliptic, 4–10 cm long. Inflorescence a terminal, sessile, several-flowered umbel subtended by a perfoliate, leaf-like bract 4–10 cm across. Flowers: corolla orange, 23–32 mm long, the flared lobes 6–10 mm long.
