General Description
Annual. Stems erect, branched above, 40–100 cm. Basal leaves lyrate-pinnate to lobed with dentate margins, early deciduous. Stem leaves reduced above, becoming ovate. Vestiture hirsute below to glabrous. Petals 6–9 mm long. Fruits: strictly erect; the body 8–15 mm long, strongly 2-nerved and angled; the beak 1–3 cm long, conical; pedicel ca. 2 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
