General Description

Leaves 4–20 cm long. Leaf blade subtripinnate at the base with 6 to 12 pairs of pinnae; the rachis hairy but without scales. Pinnules oblong to lanceolate, densely white- to brown-villous below (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
