General Description
Stems ascending to erect, 3–30 cm with glabrous foliage. Basal leaf blades broadly ovate to reniform, 5–40 mm long, deeply palmately lobed, the segments lobed; stem leaves 0 to 2, divided into linear lobes. Flowers few with petals 4–12 mm long, ca. twice as long as the sparsely hairy, often purplish sepals. Achenes glabrous, 1–2 mm long with a straight beak 0.5–2 mm long, heads ovoid to cylindric, 5–13 mm high (
