General Description
Annual. Herbage villous. Leaf blades linear to narrowly oblanceolate, 1–10 cm long. Inflorescence: scape 3–15 cm; spike villous, cylindrical, 5–120 mm long; bracts narrowly lanceolate, 2–12 mm long. Flowers: sepals villous, 2–4 mm long; corolla lobes 1.5–2 mm long. Capsules 2–4 mm long (Lesica 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
