General Description
Stems 2–5 cm above ground. Herbage purplish, glabrous to puberulent. Inflorescence a glandular, crowded, bracteate spike, raceme or panicle; pedicels ascending, 0–6 mm long. Flowers: calyx 8–14 mm long; sepals linear-lanceolate, 5–10 mm long; corolla 11–21 mm long, purple, yellow within the mouth, the lobes 2–5 mm long. Capsule 7–10 mm long (
