Stems erect, 10–40 cm, with ascending branches. Herbage glabrate. Leaves spreading, 1–4 cm long. Petals 1–3 mm long. Capsule ascending, 5–20 mm long, glabrous to pubescent; pedicels 2–6 mm long; seeds 3 to 18, glabrous to puberulent, vertical, staggered between locules (Lesica 2012.
