General Description
Stellate-pubescent biennial or perennial. Stems simple, erect, 1–2 m. Leaf blades orbicular, 8–30 cm wide, 5- to 7-lobed with a cordate base. Flowers in a spike-like raceme; involucel bracts triangular; petals ca. 5 cm long, white to rose or purple. Schizocarp with >15 sections (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Range Comments
Introduced from Eurasia. Collected in Lake County (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
