General Description
Stems yellow. Inflorescence of loose few-flowered glomerules. Flowers short-pedicellate, 3–4 mm long, 5-merous; calyx not fleshy, yellowish, the lobes broadly ovate; corolla papillose, the tube longer than the calyx; appendages reaching the top of the tube; stamens surpassed by the corolla lobes; stigmas globose. Capsule not circumscissile; styles in a thickened recession (Lesica 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
